Gudmundur Ingolfsson bio

Gudmundur Ingolfsson studied photography with Otto Steinert at Folkwangschule für Gestaltung in Essen, Germany, in 1968-1971, and was his assistant for a time. Gudmundur has run the Imynd photographic studio since 1972, and has taken photographs of all kinds, but especially for advertisements and the theatre. Gudmundur is among of Iceland's better-known photographers; his work has been widely published, and exhibited in many shows. He is a father of three and a grandfather of seven.
